Prepared for Salih

Restaurant ordering app, and the store section for your barber app.

This document replaces the Upwork contract. It is written from what we agreed on our call, and it lists exactly what is being built, what it costs, and when you get each part. If anything here is missing or wrong, tell me and I will change it before we start.

Nothing
01 · The agreement in one paragraph

Two products, one price.

For $2,500 you get a complete multi restaurant ordering app with its own restaurant panel, and a complete store section built into the barber app you already have. Online card payment is inside that price. Discount and promo codes are inside that price. Table booking is inside that price. There is nothing extra to pay for any of them.

You pay nothing today. The price is split into three milestones and you release each one after you have seen that part finished and working.

02 · What is being built

Deliverable one and deliverable two.

Deliverable one

The restaurant ordering app

Built the same way your barber app is built. One system behind it, and every restaurant you sign up gets its own app and its own panel. No restaurant can ever see another one's orders, and that is the database refusing rather than the software remembering to filter.

Customer app, iPhone and Android
  • Restaurant front page with photo, hours, contact, and whether it is open right now
  • The menu by category, with photos, descriptions and prices
  • Item options. Sizes, extras, things to leave out, and a note for the kitchen
  • Cart, quantities, and a note on the order
  • Pickup or delivery, whichever the restaurant allows
  • Delivery address and details at checkout, and a tip if the customer wants to add one
  • Card payment inside the app, and cash where the restaurant takes it
  • Discount and promo codes
  • Table booking
  • Live order status as the kitchen moves it along
  • A notification on the phone at every step
  • Order history, and ordering the same thing again in one tap
  • Ratings and reviews, which only a real customer can leave
  • Menu search, receipts, saved addresses
  • Phone number sign in, profile, language, light and dark

Deliverable two

The store section for your barber app

A complete store built into the app you already have, for the shop that also sells products. It appears as a new tab in the app and it is managed from the same panel the owner already uses for services. This is included in the $2,500 and there is nothing extra to pay for it.

What the customer sees
  • A Store tab next to reservations and profile
  • Categories with photos. Shampoo, creams, clippers, whatever the shop sells
  • Products under each category with photo, description and price
  • Product page with options like size or scent, and a quantity
  • Cart and checkout with their details and their delivery address
  • Pickup or delivery, whichever the shop allows
  • Card payment, or cash on pickup or delivery
  • Order status, notifications on the phone, and order history
What the shop owner sees in the panel
  • A Store section, switched on only for the shops that sell products
  • Add, edit and remove categories and products, in English and Arabic
  • Photos, prices, options and stock, with stock going down as things sell
  • Sold out switch, for when they have it but not today
  • The same live orders board, arriving on their own with a sound
  • Delivery settings, promo codes, and reports
03 · Online payment

The owner is paid directly. The money never passes through me.

Stripe, as you asked for. The owner connects their own Stripe account from their own panel and enters their own details, and card payments land in their bank on Stripe's normal schedule. They never have to come to me for it, and refunds are theirs to make from the panel.

Card details are not stored anywhere in the app. Stripe handles that part, which is what keeps you and the owner out of trouble.

This was quoted separately before. It is not separate any more. It is inside the $2,500.

04 · Languages

Arabic and English, both apps, every screen.

Arabic is not a translation bolted on at the end. Every screen is laid out right to left properly, the same way your barber app is, and you told me you could not find a mistake in it. You proofread this one as well and I change anything that reads wrong, at no cost.

05 · Milestones and dates

Three payments, and you only pay after you have seen it.

#MilestoneWhat you getDateAmount
1 Design Every screen of the restaurant app and the restaurant panel in Figma, plus the new store screens for the barber app. Both languages, clickable, so you can walk a customer through it before anything exists. Nothing is built until you approve it, and changes at this stage are free and unlimited. 31 July 2026 $825
2 The engine Menu, options and prices, orders and their states, card payment, promo codes, table booking, reviews and notifications, all working. You place a real order and watch it land on the panel. The store section for the barber app is working at this point too. 11 August 2026 $825
3 Handover Both apps finished and in Arabic, tested end to end, uploaded to the App Store and Google Play for your first restaurant, plus the code and the written guides. 24 August 2026 $850
Total$2,500

The only things that can move these dates

Store review. Apple and Google take one to three days and that is out of both our hands, and an account that is not verified yet takes longer. And if the design is approved later than the date above, the two dates after it move by the same number of days. Everything else on this list is on me.

06 · Payment terms

How you pay.

QuestionAnswer
Up frontNothing. You pay after each milestone, never before.
HowWise. I send you the link when a milestone is finished.
WhenOnce you have seen that milestone working and you are happy with it.
CurrencyUS dollars. $2,500 in total, in the three amounts above.
Where we talkWhatsApp, so neither of us pays the Upwork fee.
OwnershipOnce the final milestone is paid, the apps, the code and the accounts are yours.
07 · Who does what

Your side is small on purpose.

themeknock
  • Design in both languages
  • Both apps and both panels
  • Servers, database and deployment
  • Testing before you ever see it
  • Uploading to the App Store and Google Play
  • Adding each new restaurant you sign
  • Written guides for you and for the owners
You
  • Any design you like the look of, so I build towards it
  • Approving the design at milestone 1
  • The first restaurant's name, logo, photos and menu with prices
  • Whether it does pickup, delivery or both, with the fee and the minimum
  • The same details for the shop that sells products
  • The store accounts, opened under the owner's name

Deployment and publishing are not your problem unless you want them to be. Ask me and I will do it for you at no cost, the same as on the barber app.

08 · Not included

So there are no surprises later.

A driver appA separate app for the person delivering. We build it when you have the volume for it.
Live map tracking of a driverIt comes with the driver app, because it needs the driver's phone.
Loyalty pointsYou said next phase, so it stays out for now.
Till or POS connectionEvery restaurant runs a different one. I will look into whether any common one has an API, and looking costs you nothing.
Several branches of one restaurantSeparate stock per branch is real work. Whenever one of your customers needs it, we build it.
One app listing many restaurantsThat is a marketplace and a different product.

Anything on this list, and anything not written in this document, is quoted separately and agreed with you before it is built. Nothing is ever added to your bill without you saying yes to it first.

09 · After handover

Thirty days of free fixes.

If anything that was delivered does not work the way this document says it does, I fix it at no cost for thirty days after handover. New features are a separate quote and you will always have the number before I start.

Help with deployment, store uploads and publishing carries on being free, the same as it has been on the barber app.

10 · Acceptance

To start, just reply and say it looks right.

Confirming this on WhatsApp is enough. That message is what locks the scope above for both of us, and it costs you nothing, because the first payment is only due after you have seen every screen.
